Making my Life Map:
Experience:
Making my life map was a game changer experience. Before the starting of this fellowship, I never thought of myself as a creative thinker but when I was assigned the task of making my life map, I was unable to believe my own creativity I had at that time. I was surprised to discover this side of my personality and started to explore it further throughout my fellowship.
Feelings at the start of journey:
I was nervous and confused about what to do in the fellowship and how I will survive among the people who are all senior to me. I didn’t think it easy to prove my mettle among all the fellows and get recognized by all of them. I was looking forward to getting a chance to let people know about my potential and passion. Since I have a very reserved nature, I felt I couldn’t make friends and the thought of fellows as competitors.
Things learnt in the first two weeks:
I was able to interact with a lot of people and made a few good friends. The best thing was the exploration of my creativity. Moreover, I was made a part of a learning group, it helped me meet a person with a lot of similarities. I learned how to interact and be friendly with people I don’t know. I now try to apply these explored characteristics in every aspect of my life and I’m seeing positive results.
Self-Discovery:
I was able to discover the creativity inside me. I discovered it while making my life map and I have practised it throughout my fellowship. Besides, I am applying it to add aesthetics to my daily routine tasks and university projects.
