Description:
One of my SMART Goals that I have is to make a volunteers team named "Visionarya", with the motive "Impacting the Society". It will guide the confused students about the career opportunities they have. This team aims at mental grooming and career counselling of youngsters (students up to indeterminate level).
Main objectives:
Some of the objectives of this team are following:
● To spread awareness, among students, about different career opportunities and social issues.
● To provide a platform to the people who have a spirit of social work and want to play their role in the development of Pakistan.
● Youth Empowerment: As it will be a team of students, we’ll promote and strengthen one another by becoming a part of the same initiative.
● Women Empowerment: This will be a platform where women are allowed to prove that they’re inferior to none and make their own recognition.
What will we exactly do?
● We’ll choose a topic for our presentation. Will discuss it with the whole team, finalize it, and then contact different institutions for our presentations.
● We’ll go to different schools and colleges and give presentations in front of students.
● We’ll ask them questions and give them the necessary information they need.
Why do I have this goal?
I want to accomplish this goal because there is a mindset of students that there are only three designations in the world i.e., Engineer, Doctor, and Pilot. If they don’t get admissions to the colleges which offer such fields, they think of themselves as rubbish and they do not have much information to choose a career of their own interest because they have no one to talk to and there is no one to guide them. So. I want to be the one to guide these astray and confused students and help them in selecting their career paths according to their own interests. Also I want to contribute my bit towards the society and want to uplift the literacy rate of Pakistan. It will spread the educational awareness and will ultimately resolve a lot of issues that arise because of ignorance and lack of awareness.

I have done so far:
- Made a description document to share it with people.
- I got to my own college first and talked to my principal about this goal of mine. He really for happy and appreciated me much. He welcomed me to conduct sessions at the college.
- Invited the students of my college to UET Open Day 2022 held recently on 4th August and guided them about different entry tests and institutions to apply in.
Challenges faced by me in the past:
- Since I didn’t have a very good and working team I couldn’t start the work right away
- Also, I couldn’t find much time to work on it with my full concentration.
